The guest/visitor hereby acknowledges and agrees that entering onto or use of the facilities at Holiday & Leisure Expo CC is subject to the following Terms and Conditions and that all guests/visitors will be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Upon paying the booking security fee, the guest/visitor acknowledges his/her acceptance and understanding of these Terms & Conditions, which incorporates our General Indemnity and Disclaimers as well as House Rules, and further agrees to inform all persons in his/her party of the contents hereof. It is an express condition that all guests/visitors as well as all persons in his/her party and their children are bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. RIGHT OF ADMISSION IS RESERVED and Holiday & Leisure Expo CC its owners, employees, agents, contractors reserve the right to decline accommodation to, or cancel the balance of booked accommodation and to expel any guest/visitor for conduct which at our sole discretion, is inappropriate to the property, breach of House Rules or to the comfort of any other guest/visitor. No refund shall be payable under such circumstances. Kindly note that no more than 16 (sixteen) people are allowed on the premises at any one time.
2. Holiday & Leisure Expo CC, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel and/or refund accommodation fee’s and/or offer a booking alternative by way of postponement (voucher) to an alternative booking date and/or move guests to similar alternative accommodation for any reasons beyond our reasonable control and/or to comply with any legislation or policies as may be determined from time to time by Government. Holiday & Leisure Expo CC its owners, employees, agents, and contractors shall not be liable for any further compensation or any other payment or loss whatsoever..
3. Holiday & Leisure Expo CC its owners, employees, agents, contractors will not be held responsible or accept any liability, nor issue any refunds, for occurrences resulting in loss of occupancy, personal injury, loss or damage to property caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to, faults in the sewage or plumbing installations, the breakdown of appliances, invasion of pests, wild animals, weather conditions, natural disasters, flooding or water supply disruption.
4. Whilst representations, both verbal and visual are made in good faith, they are only intended to give general guidance as to the character of the accommodation, the premises and surrounding areas. It does not form part of any agreement with Holiday & Leisure Expo CC, its owners, employees, agents or contractors.
5. A booking will only be confirmed once the full booking security amount has been received by Holiday & Leisure Expo CC.
6. The balance of a booking fee is payable by direct deposit or electronic funds transfer (EFT) prior to arrival. No debit / credit card payments will be accepted. Any amount owing must be paid in full before arrival at The River House or The Other House.
7. Payment: direct deposits or electronic funds transfer must be deposited into Holiday & Leisure Expo CC's bank account before the due date. Kindly enter your surname on the proof of payment and e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
   Please note that any cash payments made into our bank account, will attract an additional fee, which will be added to the total booking amount due and will be solely for the account of the guest making the booking, to be settled prior to arrival.
8. Failing to pay the booking security fee will result in the provisional booking being cancelled, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Holiday and Leisure Expo CC.
9. Any damages or losses resulting from the conduct or omissions of the guests/visitor or their children will be invoiced to the guest/visitor.
10. Cancellations made sixty (60) days or less prior to your arrival date will make you liable to loose 100% of your Booking Security Fee. If cancelling ninety (90) days prior arrival date, you will forfeit 50% of your Booking Security Fee..
11. No caravans and/or Tents are allowed on The River House Holiday nor The Other House site.
12. Booked guests may not invite day visitors and/or accommodate additional overnight visitors to The River House & The Other House without the prior explicit consent, in writing , from Holiday and Leisure Expo CC.
13. The River House & The Other House is strictly non-smoking. Smoking only permitted outside the house.
14. Holiday and Leisure Expo CC maintains and implements security and access control measures at certain locations, entry and exit points, properties and access roads. Please note that all the entry and exit points, properties and access roads are subject to 24/7 CCTV recorded surveillance, access control measures and guarded patrols. You will be provided with the access codes on the day of arrival. All guest and visitors will strictly abide and comply to all security measures and rules put in place by Holiday and Leisure Expo CC and will not do anything to compromise any of these security measures and rules, failure of which could result ,amongst others, in being denied access to the properties and/or even possible eviction and/or prosecution. By entering any of the properties, access points and roads, all guests and visitors consent to being recorded and/or photographed and any such recorded media may be used and distributed by Holiday and Leisure Expo CC, its representatives, law enforcement and security agencies (private or public), to the furtherance of any security measures and/or issues being assessed, and/or any investigations, identification, and prosecution purposes.
15. Our General Indemnity and Disclaimers are part of these Terms and Conditions.
16. All guests/visitors agree to and consent to the jurisdiction of the Worcester Magistrates Court, Western Cape Province in the event of any litigation that may result from this agreement. Holiday & Leisure Expo CC’s legal costs will be charged at attorney & own client scale.
17. These Terms and Conditions, which incorporates the General Indemnity & Disclaimers and House Rules, contain the full and only agreement between Holiday & Leisure Expo CC its owners, employees, agents, contractors and the guest/visitor unless expressly waived or altered in writing by a duly authorised representative of Holiday & Leisure Expo CC.
